– This vacuum cleaner is meant for dry
cleaning of floors and walls.
– This appliance is suitable for commer-
cial use, e.g. on construction sites, in
workshops, hotels, schools, hospitals,
factories, stores, offices and letting
businesses.
Usable battery packs
Only 18 V rechargeable battery packs of
type Kärcher BP my be used with this de-
vice.
Protect the charger against moisture and
store it dry. The device is only suitable for
use in rooms; do not expose the device to
rain.
Rechargeable battery pack
Use the provided battery pack only with this
device. Use in other devices is prohibited.

General notes on safety
– This appliance can be used by children
aged from 8 years and above and per-
sons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experi-
ence and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction con-
cerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards in-
volved. Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user mainte-
nance shall not be made by children
without supervision.

Charger
– Children should be supervised to pre-
vent them from playing with the appli-
ance.
– Remove the battery pack from the de-
vice before carrying out any mainte-
nance and care work.

Safety instructions for transport
The lithium-ion battery is subject to the re-
quirements of dangerous goods regula-
tions and can be transported by the user in
public traffic areas without any further re-
strictions.
When shipping by third parties (transport
companies), special requirements for pack-
aging and labelling must be observed.
Only send the battery if the casing is un-
damaged. Tape off open contacts and pack
the battery tightly and securely. It must not
be able to move in the packaging.
Defective rechargeable batteries must not
be shipped.
Contact the authorised Customer Service if
you have a defective battery pack.
Please also observe the national regula-
tions.
