Operation and Programming
1. We recommend that you introduce ozone to your aquarium or
pond system slowly, building up the ozone concentration and the
time period over two weeks. rough guide for ozone settings is
given in the table on the next page, showing initial start up
settings and suggested final settings after two weeks for an
aquarium with normal loading for its size.
Please Note: the optimum setting will vary between different
aquariums and pond systems depending mainly on the number of
fish and feeding routine used.

2. The V Ozone Generator will always enter operating mode when
powered up and will start producing ozone after an initial 20
second soft start period. The ozone concentration and time
period last programmed in the unit are remembered and used
each time the unit re-starts. When in operating mode, the bar of
10 LEDs will show static LEDs indicating the programmed time
period for 5 seconds and then blinking LEDs showing the
programmed ozone level for 5 seconds and this is repeated
continuously. The in-built cooling fan will only start when the
ozone concentration is programmed with 4 or more LEDs and
the ozone output is active.
Each blinking LED indicates an additional 25 mg of ozone per hr.
Each static LED indicates an additional one hour ozone output in a
twelve hour period.
3. In operating mode, the separate red LED will blink, indicating
ozone output is active i.e. if the generator is programmed for 5
hours ozone generation in a twelve hour period, this LED will
blink for the first five hours and then remain off with no ozone
output for 7 hours. This will automatically be repeated for each
consecutive 12 hour period. Please Note:The in-built timer
always starts counting hours from zero when the unit is
powered up.
4. To program the ozone concentration hold down both the arrow
up and arrow down keys at the same time. The unit will then
enter ozone concentration programming mode. This is indicated
by the single red LED being on.
5. Now press only the arrow up key until you reach the desired
number of LEDs for the ozone concentration you require. While
holding down the up arrow key press the down key. This will
save the ozone concentration setting and take you to timer
programming mode. This mode is indicated by the single red
LED being off.
