When using, never allow eraser to stand in one spot during use. This could
result in surface damage due to excessive heat build up.
Re-sharpening of the bristles
After you have used the MBX belt for a certain period, the tips of the bristles
will become round, and this will reduce the brushing effect. Re-sharpening the
bristles will restore the MBX belt to its proper performance.
For knee style belts:
Assemble the MBX belt upside down to provide reverse spinning to the belt.
Spin the belt on the grinding stone for 15 to 30 seconds, applying slight pres-
sure. Then assemble the MBX belt again, in the correct direction.
For straight belts:
Do not attempt to re-sharpen the bristles on the straight belt. These bristles
cannot be re-sharpened.
