REPLACING
Checking:
Check the CO
pressure at the pressure reducer. If the current pressure gauge pointer has fallen
2
below 2 bar, the pressure will no longer be sufficient for the optimum preparation of the CO
water. Please change the CO
cylinder.
2
Removing:
» Disconnect the power supply of the device.
» Close the hand wheel on the CO
2
» Slowly open the screw connection on the pressure reducer and relieve any residual pressure.
» Then release the gas cylinder from its holder.
Preparing:
» Remove the thread protector from the new gas cylinder.
» Open the cylinder valve briefly to remove any dirt from the cylinder outlet valve.
Caution!
The cylinder is under pressure, open the valve only slightly and do not direct it at people!
Connecting:
» Screw the pressure reducer onto the cylinder valve thread.
» If necessary, secure the cylinder in the holder again.
» Once the gas cylinder has been connected, connect the device to the mains power supply.
» Check the CO
pressure, which should be below 4 bar.

5.6 SETTING THE COOLING TEMPERATURE

The thermostat (for setting the cooling temperature) is located on the right-hand side under-
neath the plastic cover. Set the thermostat to the desired temperature; turn the thermostat
clockwise for cooler water.

5.7 LEAKAGE PROTECTION

There is a leakage sensor located inside the water dispenser, integrated into the base plate on the
front left. An acoustic signal sounds if the leakage sensor detects water. If the dispenser is equipped
with a wastewater tank, make sure that this is empty. If the acoustic signal continues to sound, the
leakage sensor is still detecting water inside the device. Disconnect the water dispenser from the
EN
power supply and contact a service technician.

6. MAINTENANCE AND HYGIENE

AQA drink Pro 20 water dispensers are technical devices which provide consumers with hygien-
ically processed drinking water. In order to guarantee optimum operation as well as the best
possible water quality. Correct, regular and professional maintenance is necessary in order to
guarantee optimum operation as well as the best possible water quality.
Note!
In the event of a defect, the water dispenser automatically emits audible and visual signals.

gas cylinder by turning it clockwise.

6.1 MAINTENANCE INTERVAL

The maintenance interval is dependent on the amount/quality of water drawn (pay attention
to the filter capacity) and the ambient conditions. We recommend having the water dispenser
cleaned and disinfected and the water filter replaced by qualified personnel at least every six
2
months. It is also recommended that the UV lamp used should be replaced every six months.
However, this depends on the switching cycles and the number of times water is dispensed.

6.2 HYGIENE

For proper hygiene, the water dispenser should be maintained at regular intervals by a responsi-
ble and trained person. The hygiene interval is dependent on the intensity of use and the instal-
lation location. A hygiene checklist relating to daily, weekly, sixmonthly and annual cleaning is
included at the end of these installation and operating instructions (Chapter 9). We recommend
this work is carried out regularly. For your safety and that of your customers, we recommend
that the maintenance and hygiene work carried out is documented using the AQA drink Pro 20
hygiene protocol. A copy is included at the end of these installation and operating instructions
(Chapter 10).
Note!
Wear hygienic gloves during the cleaning process.
If damage or leakage is detected during the cleaning process, close the water supply, discon-
nect the device from the power supply and notify a service technician immediately.
Do not use water jets to clean the device.
Clean with a soft cloth.

6.3 BREAKS IN OPERATION

In the event of longer breaks in operation, close the shut-off valve on the inlet of the water
dispenser and disconnect the unit from the power supply (pull out the connector). After breaks
in operation of more than two days (weekends, holidays, etc.) flush the water dispenser with 2–3
litres of water before it is used again. In the case of a break of more than two weeks, the water
dispenser must be sanitised by a service technician (see Chapter 6). If BWT filters are used, the
notes in the relevant installation and operating instructions must also be taken into account.
Note!
If a longer break is planned during which the machine will not be used (for example, a summer
shutdown), the following steps should be carried out:
Emptying the carbonator (only HCS):
1. Shut off the water supply.
2. Empty the carbonator: Press
3. Turn the CO
cylinder off.
2
4. Turn off both on/off switches on the rear of the machine.
Emptying the boiler (HCS and HCA):
Follow steps 15 to 17 (HCS) on pages 152 to 153 and steps 13 to 15 (HCA) on pages 161 to 162 in
chapter 11.
Before starting to operate the dispenser again after the break, the boiler must be refilled and
the dispenser switched on again (see items 18 to 19 [HCS] and 16 to 17 [HCA] in chapter 11).
until only CO
escapes.
