3. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
ATTENTION! Read all instructions and manuals, making sure that you understand everything. Not adhering to the
following instructions and manuals, may result in electric shock, fire or serious injuries. The term "power tool/s"
used in the following text applies to your power tool powered from the mains (connected via the power cord).
Store these instructions and user's manuals in a safe place.
Attention: Noise protection! Adhere to local ordinances when putting it into operation.
Work area
Keep the work area clean and ensure that lighting is sufficient. Untidiness and poor lighting of the work area
contribute to the incidence of injuries.
Never use power tools in an environment where there is a risk of explosion, for example in the vicinity of
easily flammable liquids, gasses or dust. Power tools create sparks, which may ignite dust or fumes.
Keep children and non-participating persons at a safe distance when working with power tools. You may
lose control of the power tool when looking around.
Electrical safety
The power plug of the power tool must fit into the respective power socket. The power plug must not be
modified in any way. Do not use any adapters in connection with the power tool. Unmodified power plugs
and suitable power sockets reduce the risk of electric shock.
Avoid body contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes, heaters, kitchen stoves and refrigerators. The risk
of electric shock is greater when your body is grounded.
Never expose power tools to rain or wet environments. Water that enters into power tools increases the risk
of electric shock.
Do not use the power cord for purposes other than those intended. Never use the power cord for carrying or
dragging the power tool and never pull the power plug out of the power socket by pulling on the power cord.
Do not subject the power cord to high temperatures, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or tangled
power cords increase the danger of electric shock.
When working with the power tool outdoors, only use extension cords specifically designed for outdoor use.
Using extension cords designed for outdoor use limits the risk of electric shock.
