-
Attaching the accessories. They must be attached to the cleaner for use when steam
is produced.
-
If you need to use the detergent function, set the steam regulator to the MIN or MAX
position. Detergent will automatically be released with the steam. In the MAX position,
more detergent will be released (Fig. 7).
Warning: Set the steam regulator to "O" when the detergent function is not required.
Otherwise, the detergent will be quickly consumed and the detergent tank will
overheat .
Storage
-
Unplug the cleaner and let it cool down. Turn the cap a little way to release the remaining
pressure.
-
Be careful. The cap will be hot. Do not touch it until it has cooled down.
-
Do not open the cap until the remaining steam has been completely released.
-
Empty the water tank to prevent sediment from settling. Dry the outside of the steam
cleaner and replace the cap .
Warning:
Do not force the cap open if there is still steam under pressure in the boiler!
ATTACHING AND USING THE ACCESSORIES
-
Attaching the straight nozzle (7) and the hose (5): attach the straight nozzle to the
steam outlet at the front of the appliance, lining up the arrow on the nozzle with the line
on the steam outlet. To do that, turn the nozzle 90º to the right and attach to the cleaner.
Turn the nozzle 90º to the left when you wish to remove it. The hose is detached in the
same way as the nozzle: press the unlock button, turn 90º to the left and pull (Figs. 8,
9 and 10).
-
Using the accessory for glass: attach the nozzle and cover it with the cloth for the fabric
accessory (11). Use it on material, curtains, fabric sofas, to iron and to remove fine
wrinkles (Figs. 11 and 12).
-
Use the straight nozzle (7) to clean pedestals, baths, kitchens, etc. Remove the dirt with
a cloth or with clean water.
-
Use the hose (5) to clean narrow or awkward areas. Combine it with the other
accessories. Initially a little water might come out as the hose is long; this is normal.
Warning: the hose reaches a high temperature during use; please hold by the end.
-
The fine nozzle can be used on its own or can also be fitted to the other nozzles: attach
it to the end of the other nozzles by turning it 90º to the right and fixing it in place.
-
Use the round brush with metal bristles (14) and the round brush with nylon bristles (12)
for: gas hobs, bathroom accessories, very dirty floors, work surfaces, kitchen utensils,
windows and mirrors.
-
Use the jet nozzle attachment (16) for: hard to reach areas, bathrooms, window sills.
-
Use the accessory for glass (2) to clean: glass surfaces, glass doors, mirrors, tiles, and
stainless steel objects.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
-
Make sure the appliance is always switched off and unplugged before cleaning and
carrying out maintenance tasks.
-
To clean the appliance, wipe the body with a slightly damp cloth.
-
Do not use abrasive products or alcohol, which could damage the body.
-
The water tank should be rinsed out once for every five times it is filled (maximum) if
the water hardness exceeds 1.8 mmol / l (10°dH). You can find out about the hardness
of your water supply from the local water board.

-
To clean the water tank, fill it with water and shake it vigorously, so that any sediment
stuck to the bottom of the steam cleaner will come loose. Then empty the water and
leave the tank to dry completely before closing it.
-
To extend the life of the steam cleaner, use a lime scale remover to clean the water tank
approximately once every 6 months. Place one or a maximum of two anti-lime scale
tablets in 1 litre of tepid water (50 ºC) and pour into the water tank. Leave the solution
to take effect for approximately 30 minutes and then empty the water with the dissolved
solids. Repeat this process if necessary and then rinse the tank out with clean water.
