Carpet Cleaning
A Open lock snatch and take off motor head.
H Remove the cap from the detergent tank and fill in THOMAS ProTex detergent.
Dosing – see bottle label.
Use hand warm water (max. 30° C).
Put the cap back and insert filled detergent tank into the appliance.
E Take the suction hose for the detergent out of the storage place at the motor head.
I Place the motor head in order that the suction hose (36) is forced to sink to the ground of the
detergent tank and is not flexed.
G Connect the suction hose. In order to take it off, turn the suction access to the side and pull it
out.
J Place the lock valve into the intake at the suction tube. Insert the handle to the suction tube
and fix the detergent hose with the plastic clips to the suction hose.
K Latch the detergent hose into the quick coupling at the motor head.
L Put the spray extraction valve to the suction tube.
M Place the detergent hose of the carpet spray extraction valve to the lock valve and lock by tur-
ning. Attach the detergent hose with the smaller tube clips (39) to the suction tube.
Connect the power plug.
K Switch on the ON / OFF switch (6) and the lighted pump switch (7).
M Press the handle at the lock valve (16). Detergent will be sprayed on.
Before filling the detergent tank a second time always empty the dirt water in the tank.
Hard Floor Cleaning
N Attach the hard floor adapter. How to proceed – see "Carpet Cleaning".
For the cleaning of hard floors we recommend THOMAS ProFloor detergent concentrate.
Cleaning of upholstery (depending the type)
For the cleaning of your upholstery or your car seats, please use the spray extraction valve for
upholstery (23).
Make sure that you do not apply too much liquid, as due to the different kinds of sub-construc-
tions you have to expect a longer drying time.
O Attach the spray extraction valve for upholstery. Fix the detergent hose by turning and push
the spray extraction valve onto the handle.
Cleaning and Maintenance of the spray-extraction system
H For maintenance of pump and valves fill the water tank with clear water and insert.
Connect the main power plug. Switch on the ON / OFF switch (6), as well as the pump
switch (7).
M Start operating the spray system e.g. over a sink (move the handle at the lock valve
(16)).
K Before loosening the detergent hose at the lock valve (16, fig. M) move the handle in order
to eliminate the remaining pressure in the system, then press the push-button and the quick
coupling (5).
Pull out main power plug!
Afterwards clean and dry the appliance and the used accessory.
Never put the motor head into water!
Wipe the motor housing with a wet cloth and wipe dry afterwards.
Important pieces of advice
When wet cleaning, always move the carpet spray extraction valve in lines towards you. In order
to avoid that the carpets get dirty again very quickly, only step onto them after they are really
dry. For a quicker drying of the cleaned surfaces it makes sense to vacuum clean once again –
without pressing the valve handle – to take out the remaining moisture as far as possible.
For the cleaning of parquet floors please proceed according to the manufacturer's instructions.
