Dear customer,
congratulations on your choice of purchase: the IMER mixer RB 130,
the result of years of experience, is a very reliable machine equipped
with all the latest technical innovations.
The machine can be used to produce first class concrete and cement.
WORKING IN SAFETY
In order to be able to work in complete safety, the following
instructions must be read carefully.
This OPERATING AND MAINTENANCE manual must be kept on site by
the person responsible for the site, e.g. the site foreman, and must
always be available for consultation.
The manual should be considered as being an integral part of the
machine, and must be kept for future reference (EN 12100/2) until the
machine itself is disposed of. If the manual becomes damaged or lost,
a replacement can be obtained from the manufacturer.
The manual contains important information regarding the preparation
of the site, installation, use of the machine, maintenance and spare
parts ordering.It must always be remembered that this piece of
equipment is a work tool, and should not be used by inexpert persons
or by children.
In order that the safety of the operator, safe working and long life of
the equipment can all be guaranteed, the instructions in this manual
must be followed together with safety standards and health and
safety at work laws currently in force (use of suitable footwear and
clothing, use of helmets, gloves and goggles, etc.)
- Always make sure that signs are legible.
- It is strictly forbidden to carry out any form of
modification to the structure or working parts of the
machine.
IMER INTERNATIONAL decline any responsibility in the case
of non-compliance with laws and standards governing the use
of this equipment. In particular: improper use, defective power
supply, lack of maintenance, unauthorised modifications, partial
or total disregard of the instructions contained in this manual.
1. OPERATING SAFETY
-The IMER cement mixer can only function if all the safety devices
with which it is equipped are in satisfactory condition.
-Access to inside the mixing drum is forbidden during the mixing.
-The power lines must be installed so that water cannot penetrate into
the connections. Only use connectors fitted with protection against
water spray.
-Do not connect the mixer to temporary power connections, if
necessary consult specialised personnel.
-Repairs to electrical systems must be carried out by qualified personnel
only. Do not operate the machine during maintenance or repair
operations.
- Accident prevention and health and safety at work
regulations must be complied with in the working area
of the machine.
2. ELECTRICAL SAFETY
The IMER mixer complies with standards EN60204-1 and features
IP55 protection against water sprays, thermal overload, and protection
against inadvertent start-up following an interruption to the power
supply.
3. MECHANICAL SAFETY
All potentially dangerous parts on the IMER mixer are protected
by special construction measures or protection devices in
accordance with current accident prevention regulations.
4. INSTALLATION AND USE
4.1 ASSEMBLY OF FRAME AND DRUM ref. Fig.3 (1-2-3-4-5-6)
The IMER mixer arrives completely dismantled in a box.
-Remove all the machine components from inside the mixing drum.

Fit the wheels (ref. 6) with the split pins (ref. 7).

Warning. The slot in the drum bush must fit over the
pin on the motor reducer shaft.
Place the washer (ref. 2) in position and fully tighten the bolt (ref. 1).
