INSTALLATION – follow the operations sequence
• Install Pir HT on a wall or ceiling, optimising the area to protect (see drawings) and
check the radio range. We advise the mounting in an angle or next to a window/door,
which can be protected in its turn, for example with a magnetic contact connected to
the terminal board. For better positioning, a supplied angle fixing support is available
or adjustable joint part n°. 5961 (not supplied). The installation in places where there
are possible turbulences of hot/cold air and/or warm-blooded animals crossing
requires an accurate positioning and sensibility regulation, in order to avoid false
alarms.
• Set dip-switch 1, 3 and 4 as requested by use; leave dip switch 2 at OFF
• Set the control panel to receive programming signal from PIR HT. By inserting the
battery inside the device programming is obtained that the control unit will confirm with
Beep. Several BEEPS indicate that the appliance has already been programmed.
• If you use the terminal board and you want to have two different alarm transmissions,
set the control panel to receive the second code and then set the dip switch 2 at ON:
there are two transmissions that the control panel will confirm as successful
programming.
• Verify the protected area by causing alarms and adjust the appliance as necessary
using the dip-switches 1 and 4.
Terminal board: connect possible external NC contacts by wire following the lay-out.
The NC line with dip-switch 3 is suitable to control contacts for roller shutter and/or
inertial sensors (alarm after 6 impulses within 30 seconds). It is activated automatically
closing the contact for at least 10 seconds after the battery has been introduced.
Coloured cover: relevant covers are available that are in plastic painted in wooden
tones and/or others in order to improve the aspect of the installation. See main
