Indications
Particularly suitable for manufacturing plastic dentures using pouring method and for production
of embedded models for model casting.
Composition
PremEco ® Line precision gel contains
- water, glycerine, hydrocolloid
- colorant, odorant and preservatives
Dosage and application
• The gel supplied in the bucket is ready to be used.
• Cut the solid gel into smaller pieces before putting it into the duplicating unit to allow it to melt
faster.
• Melting temperature 95 °C
• Processing temperature between 47 °C and 49 °C
• The gel can be used up to 10 times depending on the contamination.
• If the gel has been used previously, remove residues and impurities (embedding compound,
plaster etc.) before melting it again.
• We recommend adding approx. 5% water every time the gel is melted, because
water can evaporate during the process.
• Do not overfill the duplicating unit (no more than 80%) to prevent overflow when boiling.
TIP: ensure that the ventilation operates correctly.
• Check the temperature of the gel during the melting process (95 °C) and during processing
(47- 49 °C) occasionally with an external thermometer, because the temperature must be
maintained exactly for the best results. If any deviations in the temperature setting on the unit
are found, the unit must be calibrated.
• Pour the gel into the flask.
• Leave the duplicate to cool for 45 minutes in a 3 - 5 cm high water bath.
Melting in the microwave
• Melt approximately 350 g gel cut into small pieces with 20 ml water in a suitable vessel
in the microwave for approximately three minutes, depending on the power of the unit.
• The gel must not boil, if necessary interrupt the melting process and stir the gel briefly.
• After melting the gel, allow it to cool to 47 °C to 49 °C while stirring.
