SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Prevention of electric shocks
• Only connect the Duo Waterfall Globe to a professionally installed plug socket.
• Only connect the power supply to the mains if the local supply voltage corresponds to the specifica-
tions in the technical data.
• Protect the power supply and plug-in connectors from moisture.
• Ensure that no moisture is able to penetrate the plug socket. Install the connection cable in such a
manner that it hangs down slightly before reaching the socket.
• Never open the power supply housing.
• Do not modify the LED lighting product, the power supply or the connection cable.
• The connection cable is not replaceable. Do not use the power supply if the connection cable is
damaged.
• In case of damage, immediately unplug the power supply from the mains.
• Always disconnect the power supply from the mains before cleaning the aquarium or carrying out
any maintenance tasks.
Prevention of injuries and risks to people
• Never transport the aquarium when filled with water.
• Do not allow children to play with the packaging materials. Risk of suffocation.
• The power plug must be freely accessible so that it can be easily and quickly disconnected from the
mains in an emergency.
• Ensure the connection cable does not pose a trip hazard.
• Glass breakage results in a risk of cuts.
– Wear protective gloves when removing shards of glass.
Prevention of material damage
• Damage to the pump due to running dry. Only connect the aquarium to the mains power supply
when the tank is filled with water and the pump is immersed in the water.
• Do not bend or crush the connection cable.
• Only ever pull on the power supply, not the connection cable.
• Only operate the aquarium with the power supply provided.
• Only use original spare parts and accessories.
