Welcome to Koubachi Plant Sensor
This manual explains how to set up and configure
your Plant Sensor and use its key features.
System Requirements
Internet connection through Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g
Wi-Fi reception at location of plant
For Wi-Fi configuration, you need a computer
with Wi-Fi and a browser, or an Apple iOS
device (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch).
Wi-Fi Configuration

iPhone, iPod or iPad: Download the Koubachi
App from the Apple App Store. Other systems:
Open your Internet browser and register at
go.koubachi.com.
2 Insert batteries.

Configure Plant Sensor by following the inst-
ructions in the assistant application.
4 Stick the sensor into the soil near your plant.
Water Resistance
The indoor version is splash proof (IPX1). The out-
door version is rainproof (IPX4). Do not immerse
any sensor in water.
Functionality
Plants Sensor (Pro) measures soil moisture, (soil
temperature), light intensity, and ambient tempe-
rature. All measurements are wirelessly transmit-
ted to the Koubachi server for analysis.
Highly accurate measurement of light, ambient temperature,
soil moisture and soil temperature.
