5. Initial use
1. Make sure that there is no damage to the appliance. Keep the
dishes away from the ceramic plate.
2. Wipe off any dust on the surface of the appliance with a dry
cloth before using it.
3. Make sure that the pot or pan in which the food or liquid is
present is placed in the centre of the ceramic plate.
4. Use cooking pots or pans that have a flat bottom.
5. The diameter of the bottom of the pot must not protrude be-
yond the hotplate.
6. Connect the mains plug of the appliance to a properly installed
socket.
