Installation and Start-Up
The device is attached to the cabinet with the adaptor (accessory). Signal outputs are added as
needed. The device is connected to the mains supply with the mains plug and goes into operation
after a five-minute heating phase. During the heating phase the red lights are on and a whistling sound
is heard. After the heating phase has ended, the lights turn green to indicate normal operation.
The blower turns on when the device starts up and adjusts itself to the preset ventilation system
performance. Two green lights indicate that the circulating air unit is working properly.
If the device continues to display a filter saturation warning (red light) after the heat-up phase has
ended, make sure an activated charcoal filter has been inserted. If filters are present, verify that the
filters are new. If they are not, disconnect the mains cable and remove the cover and the filters. The
filters and the cover can be replaced after several minutes. Any hydrocarbons that may have collected
inside the casing will have dissipated by then.
Adjustment
The exhaust air monitoring unit is factory-set to the required volume flow and saturation level and does
not need any additional adjustments during start-up. No calibration is required.
Maintenance
The device must be inspected by qualified personnel, and the filters must be replaced at least
once a year or as needed. Fine mesh filters and activated charcoal filters must be replaced.
Replacement filters can be ordered from PRIORIT. To ensure interruption-free operation we
recommend keeping a set of replacement filters in stock.
Filter Replacement
Start by disconnecting the equipment form the mains supply. To replace a filter, remove the
cover from the device by removing the four toggle-type fasteners. The particle filter and the activated
