Installation Instructions
GENERAL INFORMATION
NOTICE: To be installed in accordance with national and local
electrical codes and these instructions.
CAUTION: Do not use relocatable power taps in General Patient
Care Areas or Critical Patient Care Areas. They have not been
evaluated for use where Article 517 of the National Electrical Code
requires Hospital Grade components.
CAUTION: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. Hazardous voltage
inside. Do NOT attempt to repair this product. No user serviceable
parts inside.
CAUTION: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. Do not plug into another
relocatable power tap, or an extension cord.
WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. Use in dry indoor
locations only.
NOTICE: Not for permanent mounting.
Installation:
1) Determine the Smart-Way Raceway length needed. Your
options are; 3', 4', 5', 6'.
Assemble the track with 2 connector pieces and 4 #8-32 x 1/4"
Phillips-head screws per connection.
Slide the tabs of the connectors into the bottom slot in the base
track, center the connectors, insert
and tighten the screws.
