Replacing the Blades - Tracer 60 & 80
Your Tracer 60 or 80 helicopter may need the blades replacing in the event of a crash. Should you need to replace the blades please follow these
simple steps :-
1.
Both the upper and lower blades are fastened with two small screws and can be removed very easily
2.
Loosen the screws on the damaged blade and remove them. This will allow you to slide apart the blades to take come off.
3.
The lower set will require you to remove the linkage first.
4.
Insert the new blades onto the holder pin and replace the screws tightening only sufficient to make sure the threads do not get damaged.
5.
Replace the linkage on the lower blade set.
Replacing the Blades - Tracer 90
Your Tracer 90 helicopter may need the blades replacing in the event of a crash. Should you need to replace the blades please follow these
simple steps :-
The Tracer 90 blades are fastened with two small screws and can be removed easily.
1.
Remove the ball link from the flybar on both sides.
2.
Rotate the link connector 90 degrees so that it will slide off the holder
3.
Loosen the two small screws. This will allow you to slide apart the blades to take them off.
4.
Insert the new blades onto the holder pin and replace the screws, tightening only sufficiently to make sure the threads do not get
damaged.
5.
Replace the link connector onto the blades making sure the bottom set of ball links still attached are on the left hand side of the guide pin.
6.
Reattach the ball links to the flybar.
Cause
Transmitter "AA" batteries are depleted or
installed incorrectly, indicated by the battery
icon on transmitter or the low battery alarm.
No electrical connection.
5-in-1 unit not operating correctly
Trimming incorrect
Bent main shaft
Blades are broken

Solution
Check polarity installation or replace
with fresh "AA" batteries.
Push connectors together until they
"click."
Consult your retailer
Adjust trim levers
Replace main shaft
Replace blades
