Battery installation and optional charger operation
Installing the battery – Tracer 60
To install the LiPo battery into the fuselage
insert the charged battery into the bottom of the
helicopter base.
Installing the battery – Tracer 80
To install the LiPo battery into the fuselage
remove the screw and slide the bottom of the
fuselage backwards. insert the charged battery
into the bottom of the helicopter base and
replace cover with screw
Installing the battery – Tracer 90
To install the LiPo battery into the fuselage
insert the charged battery into the bottom of the
helicopter base.
Using the Optional mains powered battery charger
Available as a separate item, the mains powered battery charger is a stand alone unit for charging your Tracer LiPo battery packs.
It removes the need to charge from your transmitter which will give you much better longevity from your AA transmitter batteries.

Charger Output Voltage - DC 6V

Charging time 20 - 40 minutes

Plug the power adaptor into the charging unit.

Place the power adaptor into a mains wall socket and make sure the mains socket is switched
on. The red LED will indicate the charger is receiving power.
3.
Place your Tracer battery into the charging port with the batteries connections facing the
charge LED's.
4.
The green charge LED will light to indicate the LiPo battery is charging
5.
When the Green LED turns off, charging is complete and the battery should be removed from the charging unit at this point.
Safety Precautions
•
Only use Merlin chargers for your Tracer LiPo battery pack.
•
Never leave a battery unattended while charging.
•
Keep the battery away from sources of heat at all times.
•
Do not cover the charging unit and keep well ventilated.
•
Always charge on a heat/fire proof surface.
•
Always switch off and unplug the charger and power adaptor when not in use.
