ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Inspect whether all of the listed parts are present.
2. Insert the transverse threaded bolts (a) into the provided openings on the wooden struts ((F).
Take care while doing so, that the slots on the transverse threaded bolts face upwards.
3. Connect the wooden struts (F) to the left framed legs (H), by pushing the long metal screw (d)
through the lower opening of the framed legs and tightening it with the Allen key. Make sure
that it cannot be pulled off !
4. Proceed in the same manner for fastening the right framed legs.
5. Connect the metal rod (I) to the left framed legs (H) by pushing a short metal screw (c) through
the central opening of the framed legs and tightening it with the Allen key. Make sure that it
cannot be pulled off! Do not fasten the rod onto the right framed legs (G) yet!
6. Lay the backrests (B and C) down on the floor with their backs facing upwards. Insert the
remaining two transverse threaded bolts (a) into the provided opening on the back rest. Take
care that the slots in the transverse threaded bolts face upwards.
7. Connect the back rests (B and C) to the left framed legs (H) by pushing a long metal screw (d)
through the upper opening of the framed legs (H) and tightening it with the Allen key. Make
sure that it cannot be pulled off! Do not fasten the backrest onto the right framed legs (G) yet!
8. Push the front stay (A) between the two framed legs (G and H). Pull the right framed legs (G)
slightly sideways if necessary. Caution: the wooden dowels on both ends of the front stay (A)
must be inserted into the holes that are provided for them on the inner sides of the framed legs
(G and H).
9. Now connect the back rests (B and C) to the right framed legs (G) by pushing a long metal
screw (d) through the opening of the framed legs (G) and tightening it with the Allen key. Make
sure that it cannot be pulled off! The front stay is now seated firmly between both of the framed
legs (G and H). Make sure that it cannot be pulled off!
10. Push the seat (D) into the notches at the desired height. Insert the footrest (E) at an
appropriate height. Make sure that the seat and footrest are aligned in parallel ! Tighten all
of the screwed connections! Open the clasp on the safety belt (J) and push it through the
seat (D) from below. Lay the safety belt (J) over the front stay (A) and close it with the Velcro
fastener.
11. If it is intended to adjust the height of the seat and footrest so that the highchair suits the
child's size, then it suffices to loosen the belt as well as the upper and central screws on one
side and subsequently reinsert the seat and footrest at the desired heights, as described
previously. Then tighten the screws and tauten the safety belt. Always carry out a pulling test.
The varied possibilities for adjustment ensure that your child can use this highchair from the age
of approximately 6 months to about 10 years old. This chair fulfils the standard requirements of
a highchair in the 1st and 2nd positions when it is used together with the front stay (A) and the
safety belt (J). The highchair can be converted into a chair by removing the front stay (A) and the
safety belt (J).
