Intended Use
The tool is intended for separating cuts and cut-outs
in wood, plastic, metal, ceramic plates and rubber
while resting firmly against the counter-holder. It is
suitable for straight and curved cuts. Observe the
saw-blade recommendations.
The tool can also be used for filing, deburring, pol-
ishing and lapping.
The user is responsible for damage caused by usage
other then intended.
Equipment protection
The maximum allowable operating pressure of
6 bar must not be exceeded. Use a pressure re-
ducer, if necessary.
To avoid damage from contaminated air, a mainte-
nance unit must be used in the air supply system.
Mounting and Adjustments

Inserting the Tool Holder
Remove the fastening screws 2 and take off the con-
tact protector 4.

Insert the tool holder to the stop onto the piston rod
and tighten the fastening screw.
Mount the contact protector 4.
Initial operation
Connect the tool to a compressed air system
with a maintenance unit (filter, regulator, oiler).
Using suitable lubricants can significantly in-
crease the cutting performance.
Switching On and Off
To switch on, press the actuation lever 3.
Infinitely Variable Speed Control
The stroke frequency can be reduced by means of a
pressure-reduction valve connected on the line side.
The use of a pressure-reduction valve is generally
recommended.
Sawing
Mount the counter-holder 7.
Applying firm leverage with the counter-holder 7 re-
duces vibrations. The counter-holder is adjustable
and allows for setting the saw blade depth. To adjust
the position of the counter-holder 7, loosen fasten-
ing screw 2 half a turn. Adjust the desired setting
and tighten the screw again.
Use suitable lubricants for metal materials.
Dust Protection
Dusts developing during working can be hazard-
ous to one's health.
Wear a dust protection mask.
Light metal dust can burn or explode. Keep the
workplace clean at all times.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Before carrying out any work on the tool itself,
disconnect the air supply.
