1 Lift the switch-on protection.

2 Press the trigger on the handle and keep it pressed = pilot arc is started, 1st
cycle.
3 Release the trigger = arc extinguishes, 2nd cycle.
The trigger only can be pressed if the switch-on protection situated above it is
lifted.
Two safety contacts are closed electrically via the mounted protective cap. The
pilot arc only can be started if the wear parts are mounted.
There are to connection versions which depend on the system:
Trigger and safety contacts in series connection = 2-wire control lead
Trigger and safety contacts connected individually = 4-wire control lead
1 Open the compressed air valve.
2 Switch on the power supply.
3 Press the trigger on the handle. After the initial gas flow period, the pilot arc
is ignited by a short-circuit (ABICUT 25K, 45, 75) or by high-frequency
pulses ABICUT 75HF).
4 Pass torch directly over the work-piece, cutting arc will be built up.
NOTE
• Please observe the required gas post flow delay for cooling the torch.
• Upon starting the pilot arc, the cutting nozzle must not touch the work-
piece.
• The cutting arc is ignited on the work-piece. The cutting beam is
interrupted as soon as contact to the work-piece is lost.
