AC power connection
WARNING
Danger of fatal electric shock
Before connecting the SINVERT PVM inverter to the AC power supply, the power connection must be switched off and the
absence of power must be ensured.
● Line voltage must be ≤ 265 V phase - neutral conductor!
If the line voltage is higher, the local power company must provide assistance.
● Connect the supply line to the connection plug supplied; max. connection cross-section is 6 mm²
Cable diameter for supplied cable gland 9...18 mm
● Connector accessories for 10 or 16 mm² connecting cables must be ordered separately. Cable diameter for supplied
cable gland max. 24 mm
● Voltage drop in the cables must be ≤ 1 %; observe maximum cable length (see detailed Operating Instructions).
PV array connection
WARNING
Active PV strings can carry hazardous voltages!
● The PV strings must only be connected when power is disconnected, ideally in the dark when the PV strings are not
active.
● The no-load voltage must therefore be checked before connecting the PV strings. This voltage must not exceed 50 V.
● Use only original MC4 connector from MultiContact
● According to the connector manufacturer's installation instructions, MC4 connectors must be connected to PV strings
(MC4 connectors are not included in the scope of delivery)
● Connection cross-section of the MC4 connectors is 4...10 mm²
● Observe the maximum permissible current at the PV input of 25 A; parallel circuit of 2 or 3 inputs!
● The MC4 connectors must engage in the locking mechanism when connecting
● Unassigned connections must be closed using plugs to ensure degree of protection IP65
RS485 interface/ControlBox connection (optional)
In larger plants, the SINVERT PVM inverter can be connected with the WebMonitor portal via a PVM ControlBox. Thanks to
the ControlBox, remote-controlled active power reduction is also possible. The connection is established via the RS485 bus.
● External diameter of the RS485 BUS cable can be 4...8mm
● You must observe the connection instructions; CONNECT PINS 2, 3 AND 4 ONLY! Do not forget the terminating resistor
● Never lay the RS485 cable together with AC cables; minimum clearance ≥ 20cm
● RS485 connectors are not included in the scope of delivery

Connection to the Web portal via Ethernet (optional)
The SINVERT PVM inverter can be connected with the WebMonitor portal via an Ethernet connection.
● Never lay the Ethernet cable together with AC cables; minimum clearance ≥ 20cm
● Ethernet connectors are not included in the scope of delivery
