Thank you for purchasing our product.
Important note:
• PLEASE PAY ATTENTION: All steering and braking components are vehi-
cle parts with safety implications. For this reason any work that is needed
should only by carried out by appropriately qualified personnel. Once the
work has been concluded the vehicle must be presented to an accredited
specialist for inspection, who will then check that the installation has been
properly carried out and the component is in perfect working order before
making the appropriate changes to the vehicle's papers. If this inspection
does not take place the operating permit for your vehicle will be withdrawn.
• For any installation work on your vehicle you must consult the repair manual.
• Cover or remove the tank and any fitted fairing components in order to
prevent damage e.g. to the paintwork.
• All bolts supplied by us must be secured using thread locking fluid.
• PLEASE NOTE: The manufacturer's specifications insist that the brake
line and connecting hose from the brake fluid reservoir to the brake master
cylinder be changed in the course of the conversion. In the case of the
"Touring" Multi Clip the clutch and throttle cables must additionally be
exchanged for longer ones.
Fitting
1. Take the load off the vehicle's forks but do not lift them. Ensure that the
vehicle is securely supported.
2. Remove the steering head nut (Fig. A).
3. Loosen the brake control (Fig. B).
4. Remove the switch cover (Figs. C + D).
5. Carefully unplug the connector and remove the switch unit (Fig. E). The
fixing screw for the grip control is located under the switch unit: remove
it.
6. Unscrew the throttle cable cover and unhook the throttle cables. Remove
the grip control from the clip-on.
7. Remove the retaining bolt from the brake fluid reservoir and remove the
brake control (Fig. G).
8. Remove the retaining bolt of the left-hand grip control and slide it carefully
outwards (Fig. H) until you reach the cover's retaining tab. Carefully bend
out the retaining tab and remove the cover (Figs. I + J).
9. Carefully unplug the connector and detach the switch control.
10. In the case of the "Touring" Multi Clip unhook the clutch cable. Loosen
the retaining bolt of the clutch control and remove it (Fig. K).11.
Loosen the top yoke and clip-on clamp bolts and pull them up and off
(Fig. L).
12. Mount the lower Multi Clip bracket and top yoke on the vehicle without
tightening the bolts (Fig. M).
13. Insert the clip-on bracket into the lower bracket. The bracket must always
be clamped across its entire clamping surface (Fig. N).
14. Mount the clip-ons (Fig. O). These must also always be clamped across
their entire clamping surface.
15. In the case of the "Touring" Multi Clip remove the mirrors and mount the
fairing spacers using the special bolts supplied (Fig. R).
16. Remount all the vehicle parts and adjust the Multi Clip so that it does not
touch any fairing parts (Figs. P + Q).
Important note:
• All the clip-on clamp bolts must be fixed and tightened according to
Fig. S!
• All bolts supplied by us must be secured using thread locking fluid.

17. For the final fitting of the operating controls (switch controls) to the clip-
on it is necessary to drill holes for the fixing bolts. For this purpose the
operating controls must be placed in position and the locations of the fix-
ing bolts marked. Then centre-punch the marked positions and drill holes
corresponding to the diameter and depth of the fixing bolts.
18. When reconnecting the controls take care to ensure that the cables, if
applicable, run along in front of the fork (Fig. P).
19. Refit all the parts and check that all bolts are firmly in position.
• The full lengths of the clip-on ends and clip-on clamp ends must be pushed
into their respective locking bores to ensure that they are properly fitted.
• Sufficient clearance for all cables and wires must be preserved.
• It is essential to ensure that no buckling or kinking takes place at full lock.
• At full lock no parts of the clip-on may be in contact with other parts of the
vehicle (e.g. tank or fairing).
• Check that the brake, clutch and electrical systems are all
working properly!
