12. Do not insert or place flammable materials (i.e., paper, plastic, or cardboard) in, on or
near the heater.
13. Use the heater in a well-ventilated area.
14. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If
provided, use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as
furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9m) from the
front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
15. Do not touch hot surfaces. Always use the handle of the heater. Use protective oven
mitts or gloves to avoid burns or serious personal injury.

17. Always maintain your distance from the heater while it is use to avoid serious burns and
personal injury
18. Never insert fingers, hair, metallic objects or any other item into the vents and openings
of the heater, as an electrocution, fire, and/or burn hazard exists.
19. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this
may cause an electric shock, fire, or damage to the heater.
20. Never block the air openings of the heater or place it on a soft surface (i.e., a bed or a
couch) where the air openings may be blocked. Wipe the air openings clean if they beco-
me clogged.
21. Do not use this heater to dry or heat clothing, shoes, pipes, or any other item.
22. Do not place or expose this heater to water or other liquids.
23. Do not move the heater when it is heated. Allow the heater to thoroughly cool before
handling it.
24. Do not run cord under carpeting and do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners or the
like. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
25. To disconnect the heater, turn the controls to the "OFF" position, then remove the plug
from the electrical outlet. Disconnect the plug (do not pull on the Power Cord) from the
electrical outlet.
26. Do not use attachments not recommended or sold by the heater manufacturer, as a risk
of fire, electrical shock, or serious personal injury may result.
27. Attachments, when furnished, may become hot during use. Allow any attachments to
cool before handling them.
28. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust openings in any manner.
Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
29. WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
30. To avoid a circuit overload when using this heater, do not operate another high-wattage
heater on the same electrical circuit.
31. Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may overheat and cause
a risk of fire.
32. Do not allow the Power Cord to hang (i.e., over the edge of a table or counter) or
place/run the Power Cord under rugs or in high-traffic areas where it may be tripped over
or pulled.
33. Do not put any stress on the Power Cord where it connects to the heater, as the Power
Cord could fray and break.
34. Do not plug or unplug the heater from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.
35. Keep the Power Cord and heater away from heated surfaces.
36. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
