• Children shall not play with the device.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
Laser radiation
• Never point the laser at persons or animals.
• Always hold the device in such a way that the laser beam is
directed to radiate away from the body.
• Never look into the laser beam. It can cause severe eye injuries.
• Do not point the laser at mirrors or other reflecting surfaces. The
uncontrolled deflected beam may hit persons or animals.
If it is absolutely necessary to use the device in a reflecting envi-
ronment, please wear an adequate eye protection.

Intended use

ST-8810 is an infrared thermometer. It is used to measure temperatures with
the aid of the integrated thermal radiation sensor (IR sensor).
The infrared thermometer is designed for industrial applications and domes-
tic use. It is not designed for medical use, e.g. detecting the human body
temperature.
