Proper use

The device is to be used for starting up vehicles with
an on-board voltage of 12 V if the start-up capacity
of the vehicle batteries is insufficient. The device can
also be used to replace defective on-board 12 V
batteries in order to start up the engine!
Any other use is considered improper use.
The user is liable for damage resulting
from improper use.
Operation (fig. I)
Connection and taking into service
Note
Charge the device for 24 hours before
using it for the first time!
Reverse battery protection is only
active when the battery voltage is
greater than 4 V.
Make sure the device is switched off.

Connect the cable with the red booster cable
■
clamp to the positive pole of the battery.
Connect the cable with the black booster cable
■
clamp to the negative pole of the battery.
When connecting the booster cable clamps
■
ensure good contact and secure fit.
Switch on the device.

Remove booster cable
clamps
Jump start
Start engine of the vehicle.
■
If the engine is not running after
10 seconds, the start-up procedure
must be interrupted immediately as
otherwise the battery booster kit and
the vehicle may be damaged.
Note
After a waiting time of approx.
1 minute the start-up procedure can be
repeated up to 5 times. Then the vehi-
cle must be checked and the battery of
the device must be charged.
Engine is running:
Switch off the device

Remove booster cable clamps.
■
Jumpstart without vehicle battery
Connect the booster cable clamps directly to the
■
vehicle's battery terminals.
Check LEDs.
■
Start engine of the vehicle.
■
Caution
Do not disconnect or switch off the de-
vice as this may damage the on-board
electronics and the generator!
Charging
Charge the device for 24 hours before using it
■
for the first time.
Connect the device to the charger provided
■
after each start-up.
3 This will ensure that the device remains ready
for use.
Note
It is not a problem to have the device
connected to the charger provided
permanently.
