Unpack each element before starting to assemble the staircase. Position the elements on an ample surface
and check their quantity (TAB. 1: A = Code, B = Quantity. For "B": choose the column bearing the code on the
packing crate label).
We recommend watching the DVD provided before undertaking assembly.
Assembly
1. Carefully measure the height from floor to floor (H) (fig.2).
2. C alculate the rise:
a) subtract 20.5 cm (height of the first rise) from the height calculated from floor to floor (H);
b) divide by the number of rises minus one.
Example: for a measured height of 263 cm from floor to floor and a staircase with 13 rises;
(263 - 20.5/13 – 1) = 20.21 cm (fig.2).
3. Carefully measure the floor opening (C) (fig. 2).
4. C alculate the value of the going (P):
for the version with a tread width (including the railing) of L = 65 (fig. 2A):
a) subtract the following fixed sizes from the size of the floor opening (C):
1) 29 cm = last tread;
2) 59 cm= corner tread;
3) 1 cm = distance from the wall.
b) Divide this by the number of treads remaining.
Example: for a floor opening of 221 cm and a (fig. 2A) staircase;
221 – 29 – 59 – 1 / 6 = 22 cm.
for the version with a tread width (including the railing) of L = 75 (fig. 2B):
a) subtract the following fixed sizes from the size of the floor opening (C):
1) 29 cm = last tread;
2) 69 cm= corner tread;
3) 1 cm = distance from the wall.
b) Divide this by the number of treads remaining.
Example: for a floor opening of 231 cm and a (fig. 2B) staircase;
231 – 29 – 69 – 1 / 6 = 22 cm.
for the version with a tread width (including the railing) of L = 80 (fig. 2C):
a) subtract the following fixed sizes from the size of the floor opening (C):
1) 33 cm = last tread;
2) 74 cm= corner tread;
3) 1 cm = distance from the wall.
b) Divide this by the number of treads remaining.
Example: for a floor opening of 252 cm and a (fig. 2C) staircase;
252 – 33 – 74 – 1 / 6 = 24 cm.
for the version with a tread width (including the railing) of L = 90 (fig. 2D):
a) subtract the following fixed sizes from the size of the floor opening (C):
1) 33 cm = last tread;
2) 84 cm= corner tread;
3) 1 cm = distance from the wall.
b) Divide this by the number of treads remaining.
Example: for a floor opening of 262 cm and a (fig. 2D) staircase;
262 – 33 – 84 – 1 / 6 = 24 cm.
5. M ount tread L25 on support N20 using screw C53, without securing it in a permanent manner in order to
facilitate your calculations of where to drill the floor. This will make marking drill points corresponding to the
slots easier. Drill using a Ø 18 mm point (fig. 4) (fig. 5). Secure the final support N20 to the floor using articles
C48 and check the horizontality of the staircase.
6. P repare the stays C22 by inserting the washers C20 with the milled part facing the flange and nuts B99.
Assemble elements N24 to supports N21, N22 (fig. 3). Inserts screws B07, B06 and B23 without tightening.
Insert columns C21 into the inner part of articles N24; the stays C22; the washers C20 with the milled
part facing the flange and nuts B99. Position the going (P): For straight treads the value (P) is based on the
calculations above (see point 4).
For angular treads, (P) is equal to:
18.5 cm (fig. 2A) for the version with a tread width (including the railing) of L = 65
20 cm (fig. 2B) for the version with a tread width (including the railing) of L = 75
22.5 cm (fig. 2C) for the version with a tread width (including the railing) of L = 80
24 cm (fig. 2D) for the version with a tread width (including the railing) of L = 90
Secure screws B07, B06 and B23 in a permanent manner. Proceed by assembling all supports N21.
7. I nsert articles B02 into elements C72. Drill with an Ø 4,5 mm point. Secure elements C72 with articles C57 (of
the side where the railing will be installed) along the back edge of treads L25, which have been turned over (onto
the side with the holes) and at a distance equal to the going calculated previously (see point 4), except for tread
L25 before the corner treads. Drill with a Ø 4,5 mm point at a depth of 30 mm. (fig. 1) (fig. 7) (fig. 9).
