Getting started

If the handle is not mounted, screw the handle to the probe. The versions with extension must be screwed
together before use

Performing measurements

Insert the probe into the material to be measured. Hold the probe only at the handle and not at the

display.
The temperature profile is displayed continuously, but wait at least 5 minutes, until the final temperature

is displayed.
Note that the lance can warm up itself by repeatedly piercing. Allow it to cool down before you make

further measurements.
Repeat the measurement at different places to obtain a better overview of the situation in the material.

3 Changing the battery
Press with the flat hand on the front of the display, and twist the display until to a position where the

display becomes loose (max. 180 degrees)
In this position, the temperature display can be lift it out with a knife or small screwdriver. Pull out the

cable just a few centimeters from the probe.
Remove the battery cover on the back of the display.

Change the battery, pay attention to the correct polarity of the battery.

Close the battery cover.

Press the cable as far as possible into the pipe to prevent cable pinching.

Press the display back into the holder and twist the display so that the numbers are horizontal to the

handle.
