INSTALLATION
•
The hood is intended for operation at 230/400 Volt ± 10% ~ 50 HZ
according to EN 50160
•
Connect the product according to the instructions.
•
Do not connect power to the product until installation is complete.
•
The air must not be led from the hood into a pipe used for exhaust
from appliances using gas or other combustible materials, but
must have a separate exhaust.
•
National legislation on air emissions must be complied with.
•
Always use the original exhaust dimension. By reducing the
exhaust size, the performance decreases and the sound level in-
creases.
•
The exhaust from the hood to the open air should be as short as
possible, in order to get the greatest possible effect from the
hood.
•
The number of bends on the extractor should be minimized as
much as possible, in order to get the greatest possible effect from
the hood.
•
Thermex recommends that sound and condensation-insulated
flue hoses are always used when passing through unheated ro-
oms.
•
Thermex recommends that a muffler be used when using a flex
hose to minimize the sound level
•
When using a flex hose, it must always be ensured that it is fully
extended in order to minimize air resistance and thereby achieve
maximum suction power.
•
Different materials require different rawlplugs and screws. Use
rawl plugs and screws that fit the material the hood is to be moun-
ted in.
•
Failure to follow the instructions for mounting screws and
brackets may result in electric shock.
