User Instructions
Before using the sweeper for the first time, please read
the following carefully:
– these operating instructions
– the enclosed leaflet "Safety Instructions
No. 5.956-250".

Danger of explosion during refuelling!
Never fill fuel tank
– inside a closed room,
– when engine is running,
– while engine is still hot.
Do not smoke while filling fuel tank.
Fuel expands as it becomes warmer.
Do not fill tank so full that it overflows, but only up to
a maximum of 1 cm under bottom edge of neck of
filler inlet.
Wipe off any fuel that may have been spilt, and close
fuel tank cap securely.

Fire hazard during normal operation!
Keep all flammable materials away from engine and
exhaust while sweeper is operating.

Danger of toppling over on steep gradients!
It is possible for the sweeper to topple over when travel-
ling or changing direction on gradients steeper than 20 %.
Sweeper should only be driven on gradients up to 20 %.

Caution during servicing or repairs!
In order to prevent the engine from being started unin-
tentionally, proceed as follows after the engine has been
switched off:
Disconnect spark plug.
Position spark plug connector so that it cannot make
contact with spark plug.
