Caution! It is recommended that both hoses have an internal diameter not smaller than the connector diameter listed in the tech-
nical data table. Only then will it be possible to achieve the maximum pump parameters. If smaller diameter hoses are used, the
pump's performance will most probably be limited.
The inlet hose should show a slope from the pump to the hose inlet at each section. Otherwise, air may accumulate in the hose,
which will cause the pump to run dry and may prevent it from functioning properly.
Preparing for operation
The pump requires its interior to be fl ooded with water before beginning operation. Unscrew the cover of the pump's infl ow opening
and fi ll the pump chamber until there is an overfl ow. It is recommended to use a nozzle and/or funnel to reduce water spills. The
pump chamber will only fi ll up after the inlet hose has been fi lled, so more water will be required than the pump size suggests. After
fl ooding the interior of the pump with water, screw the infl ow opening cover back on. The pump is ready for use.
Pump start-up
Open the valve of the pump-powered device so that water can fl ow freely.
The pump starts immediately after inserting the plug into the socket. Initial start-up takes approx. 15 seconds. During start-up, the
pump will begin to pump water. Initially, the water jet may contain bubbles of air which remained in the outlet hose and in the pump
system after its fl ooding. If, after the initial start-up, the pump stops, press the button marked "RESET" on the pressure switch
control panel. The pump will restart.
If the pump does not start pumping water within 5 minutes, disconnect it from the power supply, check the hose connected to the
pump inlet for leaks and re-fi ll the pump interior. Then repeat the pump start-up procedure.
If you observe that the outlet stream does not contain air bubbles, you can close the valve of the device connected to the pump
outlet. After approx. 15 seconds, the pressure switch will stop the pump automatically. The pump will resume operation automati-
cally when the valve of the device connected to the pump is opened.
The control panel is equipped with light indicators allowing to check the pump's operating status.
The indicator marked "POWER SUPPLY / ZASILANIE" lights up whenever the pump is connected to the power supply.
The indicator marked "WORK / PRACA" lights up during pump operation whenever water is being pumped.
The indicator marked "MALFUNCTION / NIEPRAWIDŁOWE DZIAŁANIE" lights up while the pump is running dry.
The switch gauge shows the pressure of the water pumped by the pump.
Stopping t he pump operation and disassembling the water supply system
Disconnect the pump from the power supply by pulling the power cord plug out of the socket.
Open the valve of the pump-powered device to release the pressure of the accumulated water in the outlet hose.
Place a ve ssel under the emptying opening of the pump, and then unscrew the cover of the opening. Water will be removed from
the pump interior and the outlet hose.
Remove the inlet and outlet hoses.
The pump should be tilted in diff erent directions in order to dispose of the residual water accumulated inside the pump and the
pressure switch.
Open the pump infl ow opening, remove the pressure switch and allow the remaining water to evaporate from inside the pump and
the switch. Use a soft dry cloth to wipe water from the pump housing.
MAINTENANCE, TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
After fi nishing operation, the pump should be disconnected from the power supply and from the system in the order described
above. The device's exterior can be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth, then dried or left to dry. When cleaning the device, be careful
not to get the plug of the power cord wet.
Transport the device emptied and dried. Move by grasping the handle on top of the housing or by the housing. Never transport the
device by pulling or hanging it by the power cord. Transport in packaging which protects the device from dust and dirt.
Store the device emptied and dried. The water left inside the device can freeze and cause damage. Do not leave the device con-
nected to the water system in places where water may freeze. Store the device in shaded areas which provide good ventilation
and are protected against unauthorised use, especially by children.
