The factory setting for the tubular motors Art. 1804E35D(T), Art. 1805E35D(T), Art. 1804E45D(T) and Art.
1805E45D(T) is such that the limit switches are coincident and the LED on the motor head lights red.
During the limit switch setting procedure the motor rotation speed is lower than the
nominal value. Since no limits stops are set, pay attention to the position that the
system reaches. Any impact or sticking may permanently damage the system.
Periodically check that the limit stops are in the correct position.
PROCEDURE FOR TUBULAR MOTORS 180435D-1805E35D-1804E45D-1805E45D
The control of movement can be given with switch Ref. 5331 (supplied) or Ref. 5431 (opzional).
1. Hold down the button/led on the tubular motor head (see attachment "F") for 5 seconds
approximately, until the motor emits the second "click/clack" and the LED on the motor head lightens
green and orange. The tubular motor is entering the endstops setting mode; then release the button.
2. Operate the motor, pressing the "up" button of the switch (ref. 5331 - ref. 5431).
3. When the blind reaches the upper position where you want to set one the UP limit stop, release the
button.
4. Confirm the position pressing the central Stop button of the switch.
5. Operate the motor pressing the "down" button of the switch.
6. When the blind reaches the lower position where you want to set one the DOWN limit stop, release
the button.
7. Confirm the position pressing the central Stop button of the switch.
If the setting of the endstops has been carried out correctly, the LED on the motor head lightens green.
If the setting of the endstops has been carried out incorrectly, the LED on the motor head lightens red.
To set again the limit stops, you repeat the procedure from point 1.
The motor control electronics will maintain the previous settings if a blackout occurs during the limit stop
setting procedure. Therefore, if you want to abort the limit stop setting procedure, just switch off the power to
reset the previously saved data.
BWD PROCEDURE FOR TUBULAR MOTORS 180435DT-1805E35DT-1804E45DT-1805E45DT
The control of movement can be given with switch Ref. 5331 (supplied) or Ref. 5431 (opzional).
1. Hold down the button on the tubular motor head (see attachment "F") for 5 seconds approximately,
until the motor emits the second "click/clack" and the LED on the motor head lightens green and
orange. The tubular motor is entering the endstops setting mode; then release the button.
2. Operate the motor, pressing the "up" button of the switch (ref. 5331 - ref. 5431).
3. When the blind reaches the upper position Fc1 (see attachment "G") where you want to set the
upper limit stop, release the button.
4. Confirm the position Fc1, pressing the central Stop button of the switch.
5. Operate the motor pressing the "down" button of the switch more until the blind reaches the BWD
position Fc2 of the run; here the BWD mechanism settles and emits a "click".
6. Confirm the position of the position Fc2, pressing the central Stop button of the switch.
7. Operate the motor pressing the "down" button of the switch for the last time, until the blind reaches
the lower position Fc3 of the run; the BWD mechanism settles once more and emits a "click" again.
8. Confirm the position Fc3 pressing the central Stop button of the switch.
WARNING:
The sequence of the limit stops setting must be strictly followed: Fc1 Up –> Fc2 BWD –> Fc3 Down
(consult the technical manual Ref. Z378 of the Block Wind Device).
