How to Order
Limited Three Year War ranty
Spare Tire Carrier
for mounting specifications.
When mounting the spare tire carrier, it is important to
have proper turning and ground clearance, allowing for
extreme turning and road conditions.
Front location: It is very important to have clearance
between the spare tire and vehicle bumper. This must be
checked when the vehicle is in a sharp turning radius. If
the vehicle comes in contact with the tire, the carrier can
be compromised, causing failure. Front mounting will
also add additional tongue weight to trailer.
Do not exceed combined tire/rim weight of 40 lbs. for
Heavy Duty carrier and 54 lbs. for Super Duty carrier.
Warning: Failure to follow all installation instructions could result in
product failure.
Spare Tire Mounting:
- Place bolts through appropriate holes for your
rim and tire and hold in place with push-nut.
Place spare tire on carrier and remaining
hardware as pictured in figure 3 and torque
to 45-50 ft-lbs.
