Positioning the safety labels

4.4.1

Hazard zone TSL 230

After installing the TSL 230 to the tire changing ma-
chine, position the safety labels in the order shown in
the illustration (a-b-c).

It is obligatory to position the safety labels indicat-
ing the safe working area.
Danger!
It is strictly prohibited to access the hazard
area when lifting, shutting off and lowering
the lifting device.
4.4.2
On the lifting device of the tire
changing machine
Position the label on the lifting device of the tire chang-
ing machine as shown in the following illustration.

Initial commissioning

While operating the TSL 230 (lifting-lowering),
the operator may only work in the control area des-
tined for that purpose.
i
The operator must make sure that nobody is in the
hazard area before starting the TSL 230.
i
Keep the area around the TSL 230 clean; remove
possible oil stains to avoid slip hazards for the tire
or the operator, and remove possible subjects from
this area.
i
Make sure that the operating area of the TSL 230
is sufficiently lighted.
!
It is strictly forbidden to lift wheels that are heavier
than the maximum payload of the TSL 230.
!
The following described processes must be carried
out by qualified and authorized personnel.
!
Exactly follow the instructions in order to prevent
injuries or material damage as well as damages to
the lifting device.
4.5.1

Setting the cylinder stroke

1. Push the drive pedal in the indicated direction (1)
until the moveable lift has reached the maximum
height.
2. Push the drive pedal in the indicated direction (2)
until the moveable lift has been lowered completely.
