Insert laterally the black 3-P plug into the socket in the microswitch.
a)
Push the socket with rubber retaining plate and screw the socket tightly onto the retaining plate using the
supplied nuts and screws:

Pay special attention to the right position of rubber retaining plate,

Put the cable set gently to avoid any folds and to secure it from possible wiping.

Lead the terminal of the wiring kit marked as L to the left rear position lamp.
a)
Take out the 6-P pin and socket connector from the rear light and connect with the matching counterpart of the
wiring kit.
b)
Insert the remaining pin and socket connector of the wiring kit into the free input of the rear light.

Lead the terminal of the wiring kit marked as R to the right rear position lamp.
a)
Take the 6-P pin and socket connector from the rear light and connect with the matching counterpart of the
wiring kit.
b)
Insert the remaining pin and socket connector of the wiring kit into the free input of the rear light.

Insert the provided trailer control module into the 8-P pin and socket connector of the wiring kit and fix with the provided
M5 x 10 screw.

Vehicles without a 12V socket in the boot space:
Remove the leg space covering on the driver's side and fix the eye terminal of the connection cable to the fuse holder
on clamp 30 (12 V DC) of the relay holder connection cable. Lead the remaining red cable of the trailer control module
forwards to the left side of the vehicle down to the leg space on the driver's side. Connect both plug-in connection
terminals of the red cables with the fuse holder (the provided 3-wire kit will not be needed).
Vehicles with a 12 V socket in the boot space:

Ease the right covering of the boot space and deflect forwards. Lead the other red cable from the trailer control module
to the 12 V socket. Take the 2-P pin and socket connector out from the socket in the vehicle and connect with the
matching counterpart of the provided 3-wire kit. Insert the remaining 2-P pin and socket connector into the 12 V socket.
Insert the provided fuse holder into the free connection terminal of the 3-wire kit. Insert the red cable of the trailer
control module in the still free input of the fuse holder. Control an excessive length of the red cable with the provided
band clip.
Faulty operation of trailer's direction indicator is signalled by increased frequency of
Assembly instruction for the customer.
Secure the cable set with supplied cable ties, re-install all trims and other parts which were removed during
installation.
Connect the earth lead to the battery and check all vehicle functions with connected trailer or suitable testing device.
