Tray heater for VCH-20 to
90A
This flexible cable heater can be used in cold
climates to avoid the forming of ice and the
subsequent obstruction at the tray drain of
the heat pumps.
This accessory includes:
Models VCH 20 to 40A
- 1 flexible cable heater with a thermostat.
- 2 m. of 50 mm. aluminium self-adhesive
tape.
- Connecting hose
Models VCH 45 to 90A
- 2 flexible cable heaters with a thermo-
stat.
- 4 m. of 50 mm. aluminium self-adhesive
tape.
- Connecting hose
Heater characteristics:
Current: 230.1.50
Power: 80 W total.
Total length: 3 m.
Active heater length: 2 m. (contact with the
tray)
Cold limit: 1 m. (open-air cable and connect-
ing strip connection)
Heater activation temperature: Indoor ambi-
ent 4° C.

Installation
1.- With the power supply turned off, remove
the front and side panels.
2.- Fasten the end with the thermostat of
the cable heater to the side corner on
the inside. To fasten said end, use the
piece of self-adhesive aluminium tape
inserted.

3.- Locate the cable heater on the tray.
4.- Fasten the cable heater to the tray with
the self-adhesive aluminium tape sup-
plied. Avoid covering the tray drain.
6.- Connect the two terminal cables of the
heater to terminals L1 and N (230.1.50)
of the connecting strip.
