Keep the scale away from water and other liquids – the scale is not water resistant.
Electric shock, injuries and electric damages can be caused if the scale is operated in
wet surroundings.
•
Do not use the scale in places where it may be exposed to dirt, wind, vibrations, large
temperature changes or in places where magnetic fields are present.
•
Do not place the device near radiators, heaters or air conditioning devices.
•
Avoid putting the device in places where flammable or corrosive gases may be
present.
•
To use the device with the power adapter attached, first insert the proper plug into the
rear of the device, then insert the other end of the cord into a single, grounded outlet.

The device should be set up so that the power cable can quickly be removed from the
socket if necessary.
