TELEPHONE HANDSET LIFTER SYSTEM
GB
FINAL ADJUSTMENTS
In order to make sure that the Lifter Arm is set at the correct height for answering
your telephone, press the Handset/Headset Selector (7) on the A20 base unit.
Pressing this button then activates the Lifter Arm, which will move upwards, raising
the telephone handset as it does so. As the handset is lifted, a dial tone will be
heard in your headset receiver. The phone is then ready for you to make a call.
If the lifter arm does not raise the handset far enough to activate the dial tone,
simply adjust the rotation of the Lifter Arm using the Lifting Arm Height Dial (7) on
the back of the HL2 Lifter Motor Assembly (see diagram D). By moving this dial
further towards Hi, the Lifter Arm will lift the handset further from its cradle when
activated. The opposite happens if the dial is turned towards Low. Repeat this
process until the Lifter Arm is correctly positioned to raise your handset.
