Intended use
To immobilize CMC and MCP 1 joint and
wrist in order to reduce pain, to guide the
wrist and an adducted thumb into a neutral
position and to support a wrist after
trauma/post operatively if needed. Intended
for one person use.
Indications
CP, Rheumatoid arthritis fi thumb is
adducted, post trauma.
Contraiandications
No known.
Adjustments
Fitter should make sure the stay is properly
adjusted. This product should only be
altered by a medical professional person.
Warnings
Make sure that the straps are not too
tight. If any sign of skin irritation occurs,
immediately remove the support. Check
your skin on a daily basis.

Material Specifications
This product is made from polyester,
Lycra and Nylon. Spoons are made from
aluminum. This product is not flame
retardant.
Washing Instruction
Close all Velcro prior to laundering.
Machine wash in 40ºC (104
Remove stay before laundering. Use a
washing bag. Dry flat. Do not tumble dry
or dry clean.
Who to Contact
If any problems occur, remove the support
and contact your fitter or store where
purchased.
1. Check that the support is complete
and without damage.
2. Bend the stay to fit the shape of the
wrist (preferably with the stay in the
pocket).
3. Position the hand in the open brace
(Image 1).
4. Close the strap around the thumb
and the strap on the dorsal side of
the hand (Image 2).
5. Close the circular strap and the
strap on the arm (Image 3).
6. Adjust the straps around thumb into
correct position.
7. Adjust all straps for comfort.
