The high pressure fueling module comes preassembled. If you take it apart, put it back together as shown
below. Never fly The Meteor Rocket™ without both stoppers. The back stopper is a safety feature
that must always be in place. The tube is attached at flight time.

D. Slip tube snugly on fueling module & fill with baking soda.
Fill the tube with 2 ½ tablespoons baking soda (1/2 to
almost full, depending on how high you want the rocket to go.)
E. Insert fueling module into rocket. Hold the rocket horizontally
(to keep the vinegar and baking soda from mixing) and insert the fueling
module in the bottle mouth. Push it in as tightly as you can. Twist the
stopper as you insert it for a tight fit.
Insert fueling module,
pushing it in as tightly
as you can.
F. Tighten the red stopper by twisting it about 7 to 10 half turns. This will expand the stopper and increase the
gas pressure needed to blow it out. We recommend that you only tighten the stopper 7 to 8 half turns for the
first few flights. As you gain experience, the stopper can be tightened more for higher performance flights.
