Important settings / first use:
Before connecting the mains power unit with the consumer and
the mains power supply, ensure that the output voltage (V), the
output current (mA) and the polarity (+ and -) are suitable for the
consumer device.
1. Check the current:
Ensure that your consumer does not require more current (mA)
than the mains power unit can deliver (refer to the type plate on
the mains power unit). The mains power unit could be destroyed
if overloaded.
2. Selection of the correct output plug:
A number of common output plugs are included. Select the
correct plug for your application. The plug must fit snugly in the
device to be operated but must not jam. Please do not use force.
3. Adjusting the voltage / first use:
Check the polarity required by the consumer device and set this
polarity with the help of the polarity changer in the output cable of
the mains power unit.
CAUTION: Incorrect polarity can destroy the consumer device, so
it is essential that the correct polarity is not established by ‚trial
and error'!
4. Adjusting the voltage / first use:
Check the input voltage required (cited in V DC) by the device to
be operated and select the jumper with the correct voltage. Fit
the jumper required into the adapter plug. Do not fit the jumper
before disconnecting the electrical power connection. Store the
remaining jumpers safely.
ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION
The device should not be discarded in the normal household
waste under any circumstances. Dispose of the device via an au-
thorised disposal centre or your communal waste disposal facility.
Observe the current applicable regulations. Contact your waste
disposal facility in the event of any doubt. Dispose of all packaging
materials via an environmentally friendly disposal facility.
MAINTENANCE / CARE
In order to ensure that the device continues to work without
problems, please keep the contacts free of dirt and contaminants.
Clean the device only when the mains plug is removed from the
mains power and with a dry cloth.
