3.2 Storage
The measuring system must only be stored under the
following conditions:
– Do not store in open air, keep dry and free from dust.
– Do not expose to aggressive fluids or heat sources.
– Protect from direct sunlight and mechanical agitation.
– Storage temperature:
relative humidity of air:
ATTENTION
No water may remain in the measuring transmitter
where there is a risk of frost
In this case, the "DMPC-sensor" and measuring
hoses must be drained completely.
4 Technical data
4.1 Performance data
Max. operating temperature: 120 °C
Min. operating temperature: - 20 °C
Max. operating pressure:
Max. differential pressure:
Fluid: Water and suitable water and glycol mixtures
according to VDI 2035. Not suitable for steam, oily and
aggressive fluids.
DANGER
Suitable measures (e.g. safety valves) have to be
taken to ensure that the maximum operating pres-
sures and maximum and minimum operating tem-
peratures are not exceeded or undercut.
4.2 Materials
Body and cover made of aluminium. Measuring hoses
made of plastic, connection couplings and measuring
adapter made of brass.

6.2 Software installation
Install "OV-DMPC" software stored on the enclosed USB
stick.
If the "OVplan" and/or "OVselect" link shall be used,
the required software which is also stored on the USB
stick, has to be installed, too.
Updates are available at www.oventrop.com.
6.3 Operating instructions "OV-DMPC"
The operating instructions can be selected from any
page of the "OV-DMPC" measuring programme via the
?
help symbol ? .
ATTENTION
Read the operating instructions in their entirety be-
fore connecting the "DMPC - sensor".
6.4 Connection of the "DMPC-sensor"
The "DMPC-sensor" is connected to the USB slot (2.0)
of the computer via the enclosed USB cable. Further
advice regarding the operation of the "DMPC-sensor"
is detailed in the operating instructions. It can be se-
lected from any page of the "OV-DMPC" measuring sys-
tem via the help symbol ? .
The following advice must be observed when connecting
the "OV-DMPC" to central heating or cooling systems.
NOTE
Provide free water flow through measuring
hoses. Should the strainers of the "DMPC-sensor"
be heavily polluted, they have to be cleaned or re-
placed.
After installation, check all installation points for leaks.
7 Maintenance
Correct use is paramount for a trouble-free operation of
the measuring system.
The measuring system has to be calibrated once a year.
For this purpose please return the measuring system to
the following address:
