Using the breast pump

Prior to using the pump, please observe the following:
To avoid malfunction and ensure a proper functioning, use the original
mamivac
suction kits exclusively.

Please observe all cleaning and disinfection notices in Chapter 4.
Assemble the parts as shown in the operating instructions.
Please use air hoses with the following dimensions only: 5.5 mm outside Ø, 2.5 mm
inside Ø, about 1 m long.

Our mamivac
LACTIVE breast pump simulates the baby's natural sucking behaviour.

It can be divided into two phases (stimulation phase and expressing phase).

The stimulation phase

3.1
Phase 1 and low vacuum:
Imitates the baby's sucking which is fast, but weak at the beginning. The short cycles
stimulate the flow of milk. Perform the following steps:
Switch on the pump by turning the control to the mark
Turn the phase control to
a cycle speed of about 60 cycles per minute.
Make sure that the vacuum control is in the first third
of the vacuum strength display (low vacuum).

The expressing phase

3.2
Phase 2 and increased vacuum:
If the flow has been stimulated, the milk starts to flow. Now, you can express the milk
very gently and efficiently.
Turn the phase control to
