For 115 V units with a power rating exceeding 1500 W,
we recommend to fit a plug to BS4343 standard.
Using an extension cable
If an extension cable is required, use an approved
extension cable suitable for the power input of this
tool (see technical data). The minimum conductor
2
size is 1.5 mm
.
When using a cable reel, always unwind the cable
completely.
Also refer to the table below.

connector (2).
• Push in the collar of the connector.
• Remove the air hose by pulling the male end out
of the connector.
• Release the collar.
Adjusting the air pressure (fig. A)
The pressure available at the air hose can be adjusted
to the pressure rating of the tool or accessory to be
connected to this unit.
• Pull out the adjustment knob (4).
• Adjust the air pressure by turning the knob.
The air pressure can be read from the gauge (3).
- To increase the air pressure, turn the knob into
60
the clockwise direction.
- To decrease the air pressure, turn the knob
6
10
into the anticlockwise direction.

Putting the unit into operation
• Check the pump oil level.
• Ensure that the tank is drained properly.
• Check that the safety valves are functioning
properly.
• Connect the air hose to the unit and adjust the air
pressure.
• Switch on the unit.
• Allow the unit to build up pressure. The motor
automatically stops running as soon as the cut-
out pressure has been reached.
• The motor automatically starts running as soon
as the tank pressure drops below the cut-out
pressure.
Before fitting or removing an air hose,
always make sure the pressure is off the
tank.
Always check the maximum pressure
rating of the tool or accessory to be
connected to the unit.
Always observe the safety instructions
and applicable regulations.
