HYGIENIC CLEANING / PROCESSING
Protection, Maintenance and Cleaning/Disinfection
The optics of the loupes can be easily damaged and should be protected against scratching, usually caused by
dust or debris. Please attach the detachable protective lenses when using the loupes. When not in use, store the
loupes in the protective case provided.
Cleaning
Before cleaning, remove the protective lenses. For cleaning or removing fingerprints from the optics use a
micro-fiber cloth. The housing can be cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth. Use pure water or a pH-neutral or
mild soapy / alkaline solution.
Caution: Do not rinse the loupes under running water. Do not immerse the loupes in liquids. Avoid penetration of
liquids into the optics.
Caution: Hard and / or metallic brushes can cause scratching and damage to the optics.
Caution: Do not use any abrasive cleaners or aggressive detergents for cleaning.
Disinfection
Only disinfection by wiping with a damp cloth is recommended. For disinfection use only detergents which are
recommended for use on medical devices made of plastic and glass. Isopropyl alcohol should only be used at
a concentration below 70%.
Maintenance
This product does not require regular maintenance.

General Notes and Warnings
Check the correct operation of the product at regular intervals. Do not use the equipment if it shows visible
signs of damage.
- Do not look into the sun or into a powerful light source with this loupe.
This product is not allowed to be entered or used in strong magnetic fields like MRI scanners.
This product is a precise optical instrument. Please handle this product with care and store it in a clean place.
The expected life cycle, when the device is normal used and the warning and safety information as well as
the maintenance instructions are observed, is up to 7 years. Beyond this period, the product may continue
to be used if it is in a safe and good condition.
