Unpacking your telephone
When unpacking, ensure that the following elements are included:
1 x Barbie corded phone
1 x handset coil cord
1 x telephone line cable
1 x telephone base station
1 x instruction manual
WARNING: All packaging materials, such as tape, plastic sheets, wire ties
and tags are not part of this telephone and should be discarded.
Telephone description
1. Handset coil cord jack
2. Microphone
. FLASH key
Press the FLASH key to generate temporarily a timed break of 100ms onto
the line; you can use this function for special service. (e.g. call waiting func-
tion).
. Keypad

6. Wall mount recess
To hang the handset when the telephone has been wall mounted.
7. MUTE key
During a call, press and hold down this key to mute the mouth-piece (the
person on the other end won't be able to hear you anymore). Release the key
to resume conversation.
8. REDIAL key
Press this key to repeat a call to the last number dialled.
9. PAUSE key
Press this key to insert a pause. You may need this key if you are using your
telephone on a PBX.
10. Ringer volume
Use this switch to set the ringer volume between "H" (high) and "Low" (L).
11. Telephone line cord jack
12. Base station coil cord jack
