1. Intended use
a) Indications
An aerosol is an air suspension of very fine medicinal particles. Their size is below 10 microns.
Depending on the treatment, the device will be used as a classic aerosol or as a sonic aerosol.
Classic aerosol is used for broncho-pulmonary treatments and especially for the following
pathologies: asthma, cystic fibrosis, tracheitis, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD),
pneumocystosis (Pneumocystis Jirovecii infection), pneumonitis.
Sonic aerosol (with 100 Hz sound vibrations, automatically emitted every 15 seconds) is used for
ENT treatment and especially for the following pathologies: rhinosinusitis, sinusitis, laryngitis.
b) Contraindications and side effects
There is no contraindication to use AEROSONIC+ device except a known allergy to the used products.
