refer to the possible causes and relevant solutions
listed below.

•
The fuse in the car was defective during
charging.
•
Make sure the cigar lighter functions
properly and replace the fuse if
necessary.
•
Check the cigar lighter socket for foreign
matter such as tobacco etc.
•
Remove any dirt from the cigar lighter
socket with a wooden pin. Blow clean the
socket. Never use metal objects to clean
the socket.
•
Turn the plug inside the socket for better
contact.
•
Check the wiring.
•
Return the floodlight to your local Ferm
dealer to have it checked or repaired.
•
The floodlight is not charged
•
Charge the floodlight.
•
Defective switch
•
Return the floodlight to your local Ferm
dealer to have the switch repaired.
•
The bulb is defective
•
Replace the bulb.
the adapter plug has melted
Poor contact is frequently caused by dirt in the
cigar lighter socket. The high resistance can result
in very high temperatures, making the plastic
housing melt. This may cause short circuit.
To charge the LK-180, use the adapter or the 9
V cord provided with the floodlight. The use of
different type adapters may be dangerous.
4.Maintenance
From time to time clean the glass cover
in the floodlight. A clean and bright
cover ensures better lighting. If the lamp
does not function, a failure may have
occurred. Try recharging the floodlight.

Replacing the bulb
Loosen the 6 Phillips screws and open the
floodlight.
Remove the spring-mounted clip in the back of
the reflector (by pulling the ends down and than
pressing them together) and turn the fitting until
comes loose. Having disconnected the wire, the
bulb plus fitting (H3 6V 25W) can be replaced in
reverse order.

Spare parts are available through your local
Ferm dealer. If you want to order spare parts you
can use the numbers. All parts without an order
number are not available at stock.

In order to prevent the machine from damage
during transport, it is delivered in a sturdy
packaging. Most of the packaging materials
can be recycled. Take these materials to the
appropriate recycling locations.
Take your unwanted machines to your local
Ferm-dealer. Here they will be disposed of in an
environmentally safe way.
