• If the process is completed, the keep-warm
indicator (3) comes on. The appliance
automatically switches to the keep-warm
mode.
• After use, remove the mains plug from the
wall socket.
• If necessary, remove the steam tray (8)
from the inner pot (6) and remove the
steamed food from the steam tray.
• If necessary, stir the rice to loosen it and
remove the rice from the inner pot (6).

Cleaning and maintenance

The appliance must be cleaned after each use.
Warning!
- Before cleaning or maintenance, remove
the mains plug from the wall socket and
wait until the appliance has cooled down.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or
any other liquids for cleaning.
Caution!
- Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning
agents to clean the appliance.
- Do not use sharp objects to clean the
appliance.
• Open the lid.
• Remove the steam tray and the inner pot
from the appliance. Clean the steam tray
and the inner pot in soapy water.
• Remove the condensate reservoir from the
appliance. Empty the condensate reservoir.
Clean the condensate reservoir in soapy
water.
• Remove the steam vent cap from the lid.
Disassemble the steam vent cap by pulling
the two halves from each other. Clean the
steam vent cap in soapy water.
• Clean the rice scoop in soapy water.
• Thoroughly dry the accessories.
• Clean the outside of the appliance and the
heating elements with a damp cloth.
Thoroughly dry the outside of the appliance
and the heating elements with a clean, dry
cloth.
• Assemble the steam vent cap by pushing
the two halves onto each other. Firmly
push the steam vent cap into the lid.
• Place the condensate reservoir into the
appliance.
• Place the inner pot and the steam tray into
the appliance.
• Close the lid.
