The flash has different modes: Automatic Flash Mode, TTL Mode, (M) Manual Flash
Mode and Stroboscopic Flash Mode (Multi) .
Automatic TTL Flash Mode
Set the camera's shooting mode to <P>
(program automatic exposure) or < > (auto)
if the flash should work automatically .
1 . Press the mode button repeatedly until TTL will be displayed on the top line of
the screen .
2 . The flash will get all its commands and settings form the camera .
3 . If the flash exposure is a bit too bright or too dark, you can adjust the exposure
value (EV) by pressing the left and right buttons of the keypad .
The range can be set from -3 .0 to +3 .0 .
0EV –> +0 .3EV –> +0 .7EV –> +1 .0EV –> +1 .3EV –> +1 .7EV –> . . . . –> +3 .0EV
0EV –> -0 .3EV –> -0 .7EV –> -1 .0EV –> -1 .3EV –> -1 .7EV –> . . . . –> -3 .0EV
