Attach caps to gate uprights:

a. Place glue onto gate upright cap (Fig. 8).
b. Insert 4 caps onto the top and bottom of both
uprights.
c. Allow caps to dry.
Mount hinges to gate:

a. Once gate is assembled, follow hinge instructions
to complete the installation.
b. Hinges should be aligned with the top and bottom
rails and secured to the gate (Fig. 9). This allows
hinges to engage with rails for added strength.
Hang assembled gate onto post:

a. Cut two temporary wood blocks 3" tall (not included),
and rest bottom rail of gate on them. Align gate
between the posts (Fig. 10).
b. Secure hinges to posts with 1" Phillips screws as
provided with the hinges.
c. Remove the temporary wood blocks.
Install gravity latch:

Align latch with top rail on gate/post to ensure screws
engage with the top rail. Latch should be on same side
of gate, opposite of hinges.
a. Once hinges are installed and gate is aligned, mark
pilot holes for latch on post and gate through screw
holes. Then drill using
b. Measure and install latch with six (6) 1" Phillips
screws as provided with the latch. The latch striker
is installed on the gate rst and then install the latch
catch onto the gate post (Fig. 11).
